.:: CHRISTINE & HECTOR | WEDDING | EVANSTON, IL ::.

I first met Christine and Hector at the wedding of Arliss & Eddie last summer and said that she would be looking for a photographer for her future wedding. Here we are less than a year later and I was lucky enough to be there to photograph their big day. The ceremony was held at The Howes Memorial Chapel in the Shakespeare Garden on the campus of Northwestern University. The reception held at the Firehouse Grill also in Evanston.

Even the smallest moments can be more powerful than that first kiss at the alter. Here's one of my favorites from a couple of years ago:

Right after the bride had finished getting her make-up done I stepped past the hanging wedding dress into the adjoining room and dug through my camera bag to find a fresh memory card. As I was finishing up I heard the bride's mother come into the room and say in a sweet and almost whispered voice, "Just look at you," as she reached out and gently touched her daughter's face. I stood there as the scene unfolded and waited for the perfect moment and "click," I captured what you see above.
