Class. Everything about Zenia & Javier's wedding day had a touch of class. From the floral arrangements on the dinner tables, to the catering done by Fig Catering, to the traditional Mexican Trio playing during the cocktail hour. Every little thing about the day was perfect which is not surprising since attention to detail is what Zenia and her mother Rosalva obsess with everyday in their floral shop, Flor Del Monte. They even bought ice cream for their guests after the ceremony!
The entire day took place in Chicago's Pilsen neigborhood and everywhere we needed to be was within walking distance. We trekked to the ceremony which was held at St. Paul's and then after, the bride and groom hosted the reception in their beautiful home just blocks away.
I had a great time shooting the wedding this past September and they were easily one of the most laid back couples I worked with this year which made my job a lot easier. I felt lucky to be their photographer for their day.
